Help a Child Today - Chaka Khan Back to School Fundraising Campaign

The Chaka Believes program will kick off our 2010/2011 school year in September. This year we are doubling the number of students in our program. This program provides one-on-one tutoring to at-risk students twice a week. Chaka Believes fosters success by creating a strong student/mentor relationship and regularly expose our students to environments and circumstances that celebrate academic success and enhance self-confidence.

You’ve met our kids . . . now, will you help us change their futures?

• Sponsor a student through our monthly recurring donation program.
• Make an online donation.
• Create your own fundraising page. Easily spread the word and reach out to your family and friends to support this important cause.
• Make a donation in honor of a loved one and they will receive a card, hand-signed by Chaka Khan, informing them of your donation in their honor. (Minimum donation $50)
• Purchase books and supplies from our Amazon wish list to provide to our students.

The Back-to-School Campaign runs from September 1 – September 30, 2010

Through participating in this campaign you are making the difference in the life of a child. These children are very important to Chaka Khan, as is your support. She would like to motivate you to support this campaign by providing the following incentives to donors and fundraisers:

• All donors - a personal thank you note hand-signed by Chaka Khan
• Donate or raise $100 and receive an autographed photo of Chaka Khan
• Donate or raise $250 and receive the above items and an autographed copy of Chaka Khan’s CD Funk This.
• Donate or raise $500 and receive the above items and a limited edition Chaka Khan campaign t-shirt.
• Donate or raise $1,000 and receive the above items plus have Chaka Khan record an audio message specifically for you to use on your voice mail or web site.
• Donate or raise $5,000 and receive the above items along with an invitation for two to be Chaka’s special guests at a Chaka Believes field trip in Los Angeles. You will spend one-on-one time with Chaka and meet all the children your support helps.
